In my younger years, I traveled to Indonesia and Ukraine for some short-term volunteer work. Those early trips planted in me a lifelong thirst for "elsewhere." From 2018 to 2020, I lived in Aranjuez, Spain, traveling to over 15 countries throughout Europe. Walking tours, wine tastings, local markets, historic buildings, and museums became a regular occurrences in my life, and I cherished every second of it. The people I met opened doors for deep friendships and bucket-list travel opportunities that continue to this day.

In the spring of 2020, Covid grounded me in the USA for awhile, but in the fall of 2022, I was finally able to reunite with my beloved Europe. The trip breathed new life into my weary, over-domesticated soul, and it reminded me that my home will always be in the "yonder."
